My name is Heidi Currier and I have been an accredited (200 hr. YTT) yoga teacher for 10 years. My classes are in the Hatha yoga tradition and appropriate for beginners and experienced students. I describe them as “gentle”, though there are always options to go deeper as well as to back off. Students are encouraged to listen to their body as their first teacher and modify any pose so that it has, for the individual, the qualities of stability and ease. Yoga is not about struggle or strain. My classes include Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath work) and some Meditation, with an emphasis on yoga as a path for wellness in mind, body and spirit on and off the mat.
